+++ INTRACOM's New "Triple-Play"Solution Featured
at TelcoTV Conference & Expo 2004 +++
INTRACOM and its US subsidiary Conklin-INTRACOM, participated
in TelcoTV Conference & Expo 2004 (November 16-18, Orlando, FL, USA), the largest event
of its kind to date, focused on video /entertainment delivery via DSL and attracting representatives
of leading worldwide Telecom operators.
INTRACOM presented its FS-CDN (Full Service - Content
Delivery Network), an end-to-end "Triple-Play" solution, targeted to Telcos wishing to offer
rapid-time-to-market "Triple-Play" services. INTRACOM offers
an integrated solution that scales gracefully and supports up to hundreds
of thousands of subscribers. FS-CDN operates transparently over a Telcos'
existing network infrastructure, ensures end-to-end secure delivery of
content and features a customizable XML user interface that allows service
providers to easily personalize the subscribers' TV, Internet and voice
experience.
About the FS-CDN System
Video
The Video Head-end supports both live and stored video content from multiple
content providers. Video streams are converted to IP-packets and encrypted
for streaming over the transport network.
Voice
FS-CDN also offers premium VoIP services such as TV based caller ID, TV
based instant messaging, call management, and unified messaging.
Data
In addition to firewall and virus protection, FS-CDN provides a range
of interactive applications for both PC and TV users including Enhanced
Sports, TV-Commerce, Information Services and Interactive Multimedia Television
(IMTV).
Integrated Management
FS-CDN's integrated management platform allows Telcos and content service
providers to monitor and manage content assets, network elements and users.
