+++ INTRACOM: New Contract, worth 2.3 M USD, with Albanian
Ministry Of Finance +++
INTRACOM signed a new contract, worth 2.3 M USD, with
the Ministry of Finance of Albania for the supply, parameterisation, implementation, commissioning and rollout
of a Treasury system. INTRACOM was awarded the project following an international
open tender.
The aim of the project, which the contractor INTRACOM will implement in
cooperation with Oracle, is the development of a Treasury system that will critically contribute to
the modernization of the Albanian Ministry of Finance infrastructure.
In particular, the contract provides for: supply of Treasury application
software meeting the Ministry requirements, confirmation /specification of user requirements
for the Treasury system, parameterisation of the application software
to match the detailed user requirements implementation of the full system
at Ministry head office and of appropriate subsets at Treasury district
offices throughout Albania, assistance to the Ministry of Finance in developing
operating procedures for the system & implementation of a workflow management capability, user
training, development
and provision of comprehensive operating documentation, and technical
support of the system.
In undertaking this project, INTRACOM once more confirms its position
as a key player in the provision of e-government solutions in the wider region.
