+++ EU DG Fisheries awards €4 M
framework contract to INTRASOFT International, member
of INTRACOM Group +++
EU DG Fisheries signed a framework contract with Intrasoft
International following an international tender. The duration of the framework
contract is maximum 4 years and its budget is estimated at 4 M Euro.
The contract pertains to the provision of IT support
services linked to DG Fisheries IT systems whose purpose is to facilitate
the implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) on the legal basis
of the relevant article of the Treaty establishing the European Community.
Within the framework of the project, Intrasoft International will provide,
among others, the following services:
- The maintenance and evolution of a number of information systems that
have been developed and/or maintained by INTRASOFT International in the context of a previous
framework contract awarded by DG Fisheries to Intrasoft International in 2001.
- The maintenance and evolution of DG Fisheries information systems
developed by other contractors.
- The development and subsequent maintenance of new information systems. In undertaking this project, Intrasoft International strengthens its
position as one of the main IT
services providers to European Union Bodies.
