+++ INTRACOM undertakes a €1, 14 M project for Post
and Telecommunication of Kosovo, J.S.C. (PTK) +++
Following the International Tender released by the
fixed telecommunications operator in Kosovo, J.S.C. (PTK), Intracom was
awarded a contract for supplying two hundred (200) Point to Point Radio
Links.
The contract, of the total value of €1,14 million,
includes the supply of the required Radio Equipment (FQUAD 450) to be
installed into PTK Transmission Network. This equipment has been developed
to provide high quality telecommunications services offering a cost-effective
solution to the needs of a rural network.
Due to its increased sensitivity, the high transmission
power and the digital modulation adopted, FQUAD 450 can be used to implement
spur links in long distances, preserving the toll quality transmission
characteristics up to its threshold.
INTRACOM, capitalizing on its longstanding expertise
in network technologies (voice, data, Internet, video, TV, etc), specializes
in the provision of integrated solutions for Data, Voice and Video services
to telecom organizations. These solutions, based on established technologies
and international open standards, meet the current demands of telecommunications
market for value added services, ensuring flexibility, expandability,
and interoperability.
This new project strengthens INTRACOM's existing cooperation
with PTK as well as its dynamic presence in Southeast Europe, Middle East
and North Africa, which constitutes the company's main region of focus.
