Field Test Equipment

The Field Test Equipment (FTE) is a one-man portable Military Field Weapon Tester especially designed primarily to support IRIS-T Missile testing requirements, used as the primary air-to-air Short Range Weapon in aircrafts. The equipment survives under harsh environment and provides full Man Machine Interface as well as remote operation capabilities. Based on rugged construction double shock mounted chassis and state of the art PCI and VME architectures, supported by VxWorks Real Time Operating System. It is a proven reliable solution for weapon testing applications, on the field, being capable to verify the operational status of short and medium range missiles, intelligent bombs, torpidoes, etc. The FTE can also be integrated and support multi-weapon ground or naval launching stations.
