+++ INTRAKAT undertook the construction of broadband networks of €2,51 mil. +++
Recently INTRAKAT signed contracts worth €2,51 mil. with ETVA INDUSTRIAL AREAS S.A., for the construction of broadband networks following the conduction of relevant tenders.
Specifically, INTRAKAT, in joint-venture with ELTER (50-50%) has undertaken the construction of broadband networks in the industrial areas of Patra, Ioannina, Thessaloniki and Komotini. The budgets of the projects amount to € 538,4 th., € 492 th., € 974,6 th. and € 503,9 th respectively..
All contracts entail the construction of fiber optic networks and the installation of knots with the required active and passive equipment. Works are expected to be completed within 2007.
In view of the high perspectives in the field of broadband networks, INTRAKAT installs and ensures the proper operation of fiber optic network infrastructures and telecommunication networks connecting equipment, having assumed significant projects in this field, such as:
- design & construction of metropolitan fiber optic networks in Athens and Thessaloniki for Forthnet,
- design & construction of fiber optic networks and installation of equipment in Athens and Thessaloniki for HOL
- the Athens-Thessaloniki fiber optic network for Vodafone etc.
