+++ INTRACOM IT SERVICES signed a new contract with National Bank of Greece +++

The contract concerns the establishment of a new integrated Call Centre with automated "phone banking" customer services

INTRACOM IT SERVICES signed a new contract , worth €2.3 million, with the National Bank of Greece for the design, implementation and maintenance of the Bank's integrated Call Centre, which among others will provide automated "phone banking" services. The contract was awarded following an open tender between international leaders of the field.

The project aims to offer the operation of an innovative system that will contribute towards the radical qualitative upgrading of all the customer services offered by the National Bank of Greece. The project will enable the Bank to offer innovative phone banking services using natural speech, and will strengthen the Bank's competitive advantages in the Greek market. Furthermore, through its scalable and expandable architecture, the system meets the present as well as future requirements of the Bank.

Specifically, this integrated solution is based on advanced and proven banking technologies of international and local manufacturers ( Nortel , Genesys , Nuance etc .). The solution includes hardware and software for automated call management and servicing, specialized banking software for voice recognition and speech synthesis, as well as the required interoperability with the Bank's IT systems.

Dimitris Plagiannis , General Manager of Banking and Enterprise Solutions of INTRACOM IT SERVICES , stated : "We are honoured that the National Bank of Greece has chosen our Call Centre and Phone Banking systems. This project will significantly support the already strong competitive advantage of the Bank, by providing a modern and innovative customer services system."
