+++ INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS delivered the advanced communication systems for the Greek Navy +++

INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS delivered to the Elefsis Shipyards, the first lot of the new WISPR Net advanced technology intercommunication system for installation in the Fast Missile Boats of LASKOS Class, after successfully completing the Factory Acceptance Tests under the supervision of the representative of the Hellenic Navy.

The € 1.7 ml. project concerns the modernization of the communication system of the "La Combattante III" class naval ships.

WISPR Net has been fully developed by INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS. It is an innovative digital intercommunication system for naval ships that provides advanced functionality and supports the control of tactical communication subsystems. The cutting-edge technologies used provide security, reliability, expandability and are easy to up-grade. In parallel, WISPR Net can become the communication platform for the implementation of a Command, Control, Communication and Information system (C4I).

Moreover, INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS will offer WISPR Net as an integrated solution for the communication system of the New Frigates Program of the Hellenic Navy, as well as for the modernization program for the Romanian Frigates.

During the last 6 years, INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS has developed important activities in intercommunication advanced technology systems. The Hellenic Armed Forces have chosen and use the WISPR technology. WISPR Net is also incorporated in complex armament systems for international markets, in cooperation with international leaders such as the German Krauss-Maffei Wegmann.
