+++ 9M07 Financial Results:
Turnover up by 15%, new contracts signed reached
€ 508,8 mil.
High customer acquisition costs weighted on hellas online operational results +++
Consolidated sales reached € 289,2 mil., thus continuing its recent growth, up by 15% from the 2006 respective period, while new contracts signed reached € 508,8 mil. EBITDA were € 11,6 mil., losses before taxes reached € -9,8 mil., while net losses after tax amounted to € - 25 mil., versus € - 27 mil. in the respective period of 2006.
It should be noted that the consolidated sales figure does not include INTRACOM TELECOM Group's turnover, because it is consolidated under the net equity method. Also Attica Telecoms' sales are included in Hellas On Line's consolidated sales (from its acquisition date). With respect to the bottom line net result (EATAM: - € 24,9 mil.), it should be noted that it is negatively affected by deferred taxation. Taxes of € 14,4 mil. (due to income tax of € 3,4 mil., and to deferred taxation of € 11 mil.), weigh on the period's financial results. The biggest part of the aforementioned deferred taxation amount is due to the write off of deferred taxation receivables from previous years, because of the future merger between Unibrain and Hellas On Line, and also due to the conclusion of the tax audit of the parent company.
