EFG Eurobank Ergasias in Poland - Integrated ATM/POS & Card Management System
INTRACOM IT SERVICES has signed a new contract with EFG Eurobank Ergasias for the supply, implementation and maintenance of an Integrated ATM/POS and Card Management System in Poland.
Eurobank Group's Subsidiary in Poland is active since the end
of 2005 in the entire spectrum of banking activities, especially in retail banking, in the Polish market, which is one of the largest retail markets in Central and Eastern Europe with approx. 40 million inhabitants.
With this contract, Eurobank expands its cooperation with INTRACOM IT SERVICES for the installation of NOMAD Software's front end switch and card management system - NOMAD Cortex - which has been strategically selected by the Bank for processing ATM/POS and Card transactions of its subsidiaries and has already been installed in Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria, supporting a large volume of transactions and interconnections with local and international electronic payment networks.
NOMAD Cortex, an advanced and comprehensive card payments solution of UK-based NOMAD Software Ltd, supports 24-hour multicurrency operations, open systems architecture and is fully compliant with EMV standards. With more than 30 installations worldwide, including large banks such as Societe Generale - BRD Romania, ING Romania, Hypo-Alde-Adria Bank Croatia, Stopanska Bank - subsidiary of National Bank of Greece in Skopje, AIB Group etc., NOMAD Cortex processes transactions of extremely high volumes with certified benchmarks.
