+++ INTRACOM: Recipient of International Genesys Award +++

INTRACOM was awarded the "BEST Partner of the Year 2003" prize for the wider region of Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (ECEMEA) at the Genesys EMEA Partner Forum 2004, held in Barcelona, Spain, on March 4th- 5th, 2004.

The successful strategic partnership between Genesys and INTRACOM began in 1996, expanded in Greece, Cyprus, the wider Balkan area, as well as in countries of the Middle East and Africa, and has so far led to the installation of Call Centers in many large-scale telecom and banking & finance organizations such as: Vodafone, TIM, ÏÔÅ and Alpha Bank in Greece, Cosmorom (Romania), Connex (Romania), CosmoBulgaria Mobile EAD (Bulgaria), Mobilecom (Jordan) and Byblos Bank (Lebanon).

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc., an Alcatel SA subsidiary, is an international pioneer in the field of Computer Telephony Integration - CTI.

Within the framework of the award, INTRACOM's significant project in the area, having implemented several of the largest and most modern Call Centers, was promoted. Furthermore, INTRACOM, moving beyond solutions implementation and integration, has dynamically entered the field of Consultancy Services provision to its customers. INTRACOM offers CTI solutions involving interconnectivity between Genesys products and the entirety of the market's major Call Centers, such as Alcatel, Ericsson, Lucent, Nortel, Siemens, etc. In several cases, INTRACOM applied internationally innovative interconnection methods, for better and more productive exploitation of the customer's present call centers.

Within the framework of this partnership, INTRACOM is currently implementing two significant projects for Vodafone Hellas, based on Genesys Voice Portal Solution and Genesys Workforce Management Solution respectively. The first one refers to an advanced voice portal for the provision of novel services to the operator's subscribers, whereas the second regards a human resources management and control system for the Customer Care & Information Department.
