+++ The consortium of INTRAROM - INTRACOM IT SERVICES has
been awarded a contract worth €19.5 mil. with the Ministry
of Justice and the Public Ministry of Romania +++
INTRAROM signed on behalf of the consortium a contract
valued approximately €19.5 mil. with the Ministry of Justice and
the Public Ministry, for the acquisition of IT Equipment & Services
through a financial leasing by Unicredit Leasing. This is the most important
acquisition contract of the Ministry of Justice and Public Ministry and
was signed by Ms. Monica Macovei - Minister of Justice and Mr. Ilie Botos
- the Prosecutor General.
The consortium was awarded this contract after winning
the open tender issued by the contracting association formed by the Ministry
of Justice and the Public Ministry, for the supply, through financial
leasing of IT equipment necessary for judiciary and penitentiary system
in Romania.
This turn key project will create the infrastructure
for improving the efficiency of justice in Romania and its integration
to European standards. Best of bread products from different vendors such
as HP, Cisco, Flamingo and Softwin will be used.
It should be noted that this is a project of great importance
for both the Ministry of Justice and the Public Ministry, harmonizing
their operations and practices to European standards and ensuring the
efficiency and modernization of Justice in Romania.
